Sentosa Escapade

We had a 3D2N stay at Sentosa Silosa Beach Resort on 12-15 Jun 2009. This escapade was organised by Melvin’s friends and altogether, 5 families (including us) were in this trip. The trip’s main focus is the kids and they sure had lots of fun, including Matthew. We started off our Saturday morning, with building sand castle, catching tiny fishes & starfish by the beach. Our dear Matthew was confined to the shade for most time, watching Daddy made sand castle and yet remained cautious to try.  After lunch at Vivo City, we went for the skyride and luge ride. Matthew was very brave, he never shut his eyes throughout the journey.  We had a quick rest after the adventurous ride and the day ended with the laser show on  Songs of the sea by the beach.

Farewell IMC

My days at IMC had finally come to an end.

I had always thought that one day when I leave IMC, there would be no feeling of sadness, no friends to call upon and totally no impact on me whatsoever but I was wrong.

2008 has been quite a turn of events with the shift to Suntec Tower 2. I had liked the office immediately from the start. The clear, bright and peaceful environment with the nice and cosy pantry layout provides quite a conducive working environment for us, staffs. The smaller office layout somewhat brings the staffs closer with more interaction, where you will often see people being gathered around at pantry area for chit chat or at cubicle areas.  It is quite a change from the office at Tower 5 where it is much bigger but also much colder. Pei Chin, if you are reading this, thanks for including me in your countless activities, though I may not appear in all of them but I appreciate it :O). Mdm Ho, for your generosity. The rest of the people, for tolerating with my nonsense. I will always remember JQ’s departing words for me – that he always had this feeling of guilt that because of his  OBS entity,  I had been retrenched, if I was still handling TWS as before, things would be different for me.  好感动哦! 再说下去,我真的会哭了!

Now, all good things must come to an end before a new adventure can begin.

(Looking at Ian with admiration) My cousin can play the piano really well. Can I be like him too?

Last but not least, I have found a job!!!! Yahoo!!!
